The new season of Supernatural begins tonight at 9/8c on the CW. In it's tenth season, Supernatural is one of the longest running drama on TV. Following in the footsteps of the CW's Smallville, which also had a ten season run on the WB/CW.
According to
ScreenRant.com a few months ago, CW President Mark Pedowitz is up for continuing the show as long as fan support is there. Earlier this year at the Television Critics Association, he reportedly said, that
"As a fan of the show, who’s seen every episode, as long as I’m here and those numbers hold, God bless them. They can go as long as they want."
